Urinary urgency is the strong, sometimes uncontrollable need to void immediately. Urinary frequency is (as its name suggests) the abnormal excessive of times needed to void, day or night. There are several types of each with different causes. Therefore, a serious attempt must be made to find the cause, so that the most effective and safest treatment can be instituted.
